Choosing the right builder and negotiating a good price were vital to the success of our project.  We chose Simon after he dropped an advert through our door (no doubt on the strength of our planning application) and it was this proactive approach, followed by a detailed quote, design suggestions and numerous recommendations which sealed the deal.  Our confidence was further boosted after a number of site visits to recent projects; the finished quality we saw set him apart from his contemporaries. 

Simon was there to help from concept to finished project.  He was instrumental in driving our project forward, making imaginative design suggestions and sourcing materials where needed.  He maintained communication throughout the project and was keen to minimise the disruption to our neighbours, which was extremely important to us. 

It was during the final stages of the project where Simon’s professionalism was most evident.  He paid attention to the minutia of finishing touches and snags and coordinated the different trades accordingly.  During the project we recommended him to others and continue to do so.  We envisage further works in the future and it goes without saying that Simon will get the job.

Living some distance at the time  from the development, we were pleased that Simon and his team provided regular updates on progress, consulted us on any specific issues as they were encountered and  project managed the development to meet tight time constraints. Helpful suggestions were made at the design stage, there was excellent liaison with our architect and we were delighted with the completion . A number of neighbours have, as a consequence enquired about work themselves, having seen the final outcome.
